The SMOOTH JAZZ NETWORK is proud to announce that the DAVE KOZ RADIO SHOW will begin broadcasting across the terrestrial network and on iHeart Radio beginning this Sunday, January 27 at 9p.m. Eastern time.  Koz, an eight-time Grammy Award nominee, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009.  He shares, "I'm very honored to have the DAVE KOZ RADIO SHOW joining the SMOOTH JAZZ NETWORK line-up of wonderful radio stations.  We've been able to have this show on the air for 18+ years now, and for one main reason... the great support of radio stations across the country -- and very loyal listeners.  With this exciting new growth for our show, I look forward to reaching many more music fans every weekend, playing this great music and sharing insights into the artists who make it."

Jazz legend Tony Bennett and pop icon Lady Gaga have confirmed they are collaborating on a new jazz album.  Gaga and Bennett attended President Obama's Staff Ball on Tuesday (January 22) and performed their duet "The Lady Is a Tramp," from Bennett's Duets II album.  Gaga posted a picture of the two of them together on Twitter saying, "And here's me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he's my darling!"  Tony Bennett is a NEA Jazz Master, seventeen-time Grammy Award winner and the oldest living artist to debut an album at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, a feat he accomplished with his 2011 release Duets II.  Tony is scheduled to perform in Washington, DC on January 26 and Newark, NJ on Janurary 27.
