Toni Braxton will star in the made for television film Twist of Faith, premiering on Lifetime on February 9.  According to Lifetime, the interfaith love story evolves around Jacob Fisher (David Julian Hirsch), an Orthodox Jewish Cantor and amateur songwriter from Brooklyn, New York and Nina (Toni Braxton), a single mother and lead singer of a small gospel choir.  After Jacob witnesses the murder of his wife and three children, he leaves New York, abandons his identity and wanders aimlessly, hoping to understand his tragedy.  He lands in Brent, Alabama where he is "embraced by Nina, her Uncle Moe (Mykelti Williamson) and their gospel community who help his return to life while music brings Nina and Jacob together as they try to make sense of his past and their possible future."  Twist of Faith marks Braxton's debut on the Lifetime channel -- the movie will air on February 9 at 8 p.m.
