Grammy winning bassist Marcus Miller was injured when his tour bus overturned in Switzerland Sunday (November 25). According to , the German-registered private bus tipped over as it drove into a bend on the A2 highway in central Switzerland, killing the driver. The bus was carrying 13 people - two drivers and 11 members of the Marcus Miller Band, including Miller. The band had finished up a show in Monaco, Monte Carlo and were on their way to their next gig in Hengelo, Netherlands when the accident occurred. Marcus was released from the hospital, but several of his bandmates and crew members were being kept overnight for observation. During his career Miller has worked with a wide variety of artists including Miles Davis, Luther Vandross, Dizzy Gillespie and Michael Jackson, among many others. He has been on tour in support of his latest album Renaissance.
