Mariah Carey Teases New Album for Summer 2012
Mariah Carey has been busy working on her 13th studio album and took to Twitter this week to announce the project will be coming out this summer. Carey tweeted, "So.. Summer 2012.. Been in the lab, mixing up some concoctions for you, hope you like it!! #MCSummer2012." Mariah and her husband, Nick Cannon have said previously that the birth of their twins, Monroe and Moroccan, has been a new source of inspiration for the Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter. Mariah's last album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel released in 2009, hit number three on the Billboard 200. She performed for President and Mrs. Obama at a fundraising event in New York City on June 14, singing her hits "Hero," "We Belong Together" and a song written specially for the event called "Bring It On Home."
