Peter White releases 'Here We Go'

Peter White releases his 13th album, Here We Go, today (March 13).  The guitarist gets some help on the project from saxophonists David Sanborn and Kirk Whalum and his 10 year-old daughter, Charlotte White, plays the violin on the track "If Ever..."  Peter admits he's been a big fan of David Sanborn's work for decades and has always wanted to collaborate with him saying, "David is someone whom I've wanted to play with for the longest time.  This is someone who played at Woodstock and recorded with David Bowie.  His sound has become the inspiration for many of my contemporaries.  He's a legend to me and to just about every musician I know."  He wrote the title track with Sanborn in mind, while Whalum assists on "Our Dance."  Peter's next show is coming up on March 24 at the Berks Jazz Festival in Reading, PA.
