Grace Roberts is the Community Affairs Director and co-host of the WAVE's Morning Show with 107.3 FM, WNWV, Rubber City Radio Group's Smooth AC. "Staying connected, bringing what matters to our listeners, is my desire, and I am so blessed to be back," she emphatically states. Grace's passion extends far beyond the on-air experience and she is very passionate about every aspect of broadcasting.
Prior to returning to the WAVE, Roberts spent several years with Radio One Cleveland's Urban AC, 93.1 WZAK FM in various capacities including host of "Overnight Grooves w/ Grace", co-host of Community Affairs/Entertainment Show, "Access Cleveland", and host of long running community affairs show, "Urban Spotlight". She also held the title, "First Lady of Midday's" with Radio One Cleveland's gospel station, Praise 1300.
Some of Grace's favorite interviews were: Laurence Fishburne, Alicia Keys, Dr. Ian Smith, Stedman Graham, Yolanda King (daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.), and the Forty-fourth President of the United States, Barack Obama.
A few of her favorite artists' are Kem, Sade, & Michael Franks. "I enjoy all genres of music, but jazz is my most favorite," she says.
Grace has appeared on Kaleidoscope & proudly honored to be recognized in 2008 and in 2013 in Who's Who in Black Cleveland.
Grace is an avid reader and national voice talent. She loves traveling, exercise, and spending time with family. Grace continues to serve her listeners and community, "I take nothing for granted," she states.
Grace currently resides in Aurora with her family, including her mini schnauzer, Jada.
