Kenny Garrett has become the pre-eminent alto saxophonist of his generation. From his first gig with the Duke Ellington Orchestra through his time spent with musicians such as Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw Miles Davis and Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, Garrett has brought a melodic and truly distinctive sound to every musical situation. He has been a band leader for two decades, and expands his musical voice through exploration of genres and traditions around the globe. Garrett will be joined by Benito Gonzalez (piano), Corcoran Holt (bass), McClenty Hunter (drums) Rudy Bird (percussion).
