Angela Glover Blackwell, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PolicyLink and a leading voice in the movement for equity in America, will talk about the ways in which place impacts public policy during the third presentation in the “Why Place Matters” speakers series at noon on February 17 at the City Club of Cleveland.
PLACE MATTERS is a nationwide initiative of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Health Policy Institute, designed to improve health outcomes of participating communities, including Cuyahoga County, through shared learning experiences. The Why Place Matters series is sponsored by Saint Luke’s Foundation in partnership with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, the Cleveland Planning Commission, Cuyahoga County, the Cleveland Department of Public Health, the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, and the City Club of Cleveland.
Tickets are $18 for City Club members; $30 for non-members; $450 for a corporate table for 10; and $350 for a nonprofit table for 10. Price includes lunch.
